Chassis rigidity is an important proponent of vehicle stability during cornering performance. Our Research & Development team noticed that the rear end of this small, compact, light-weight chassis underwent an abnormal amount of chassis flex, which can result in the suspension arms deflecting from their normal suspension arcs, ultimately affecting handling performance. We have developed the rear support bar to increase the torsional rigidity of the chassis by 120% to minimize the inherent chassis flex and suspension deflection found under competition use, and even in normal day-to-day daily driven use.
